HP Indigo 7900 Digital Press
The freedom to do more
Digital printing is different from traditional offset lithography printing in that very little setup is required to get a project started. No more making plates, inking cylinders, and cleaning presses. Your images and designs are applied directly to the paper or plastic substrate with less waste and without the need for multiple sets of large metal printing plates. Smaller quantity digitally printed projects can save $100s in setup costs alone.
Because your items are printed digitally, each item can be different from the next or multiple versions can be printed together to save even more.
Digital printing is a great choice for controlling costs on smaller projects but digital doesn’t have to mean basic. Our HP Indigo presses can print on a wide variety of paper and plastic substrates. Want to really make your project standout? Our HP Indigos are even upgraded with white ink, fluro ink and raised ink printing capabilities.
What substrates are available for digital printing?
HP Indigo presses boast the widest variety of compatible papers and substrates in the industry, more than 3,000 and counting. Options range from artist grade uncoated papers to rigid commercial plastics and vinyls. Even foil stocks, wood veneers, and static cling materials are available.
We’ve partnered with all of the major paper-mills to build a massive library of in-house stocks, but don’t limit yourself. Have something unusual in mind? We deal direct with the paper mills, so most any stock is on our dock within a day. Whether you are looking for static window clings, rigid plastics, or luxurious gallery quality papers, there is an Indigo certified substrate available for any project.
For customers desiring to limit their environmental impact, we have carbon neutral, SFI, PEFC, FSC, and recycled substrates available from more than 20 suppliers.
